A little about Heather…
Heather Eskridge is a professional school counselor enjoying her 22nd year as an educator in Tennessee. She is a student-centered leader and innovator.
Heather has a passion for equipping and empowering her students with real-world life skills. She created an innovative college and career readiness program enabling elementary students to develop strong career, business, and interpersonal skills.

She values and cultivates strong community partnerships. These partnerships allow her students to interact and learn from businesses, organizations, and postsecondary campuses. Examples of partnership success include campus guest speakers, field trip hosts, STEAM festivals, college tours, military career exploration, technical and community college visits, business skills on-site challenges, as well as business tours.
Heather has presented in local school districts, at the Tennessee L.E.A.D. Conference, SCALI, as well as at the Tennessee Governor’s Conference.
She has served Pre-K through 8th grades and has twice been named a school-level teacher of the year. She earned her M.Ed. from M.T.S.U. and continues to collaborate with the university to create pathways for success for students.
Heather is a life-long resident of Tennessee and proud mother of her sons, C.J. and Tucker. She loves the outdoors, reading, spoiling the family dog, and being anywhere near an ocean or mountain.
